Glasgow Business will debut its online edition in March. Readers will be able to access the same articles, events calendar and adverts through a digital format which will allow readers to click through the publication page by page or to go direct to specific pages.
Each online edition will be accessible at the same time that the print edition arrives. The digital version will be available on the front page of the Glasgow Chamber's website via an icon of the front cover of the publication which will bring readers directly through to the online version. Through the online version readers can comment on articles via reply links and jump directly to advertisers' websites. With options for advertisers to not only have live links but also animated adverts, buttons, skyscrapers and the option for videos to be embedded within the publication. This will provide easier communication between the readership and advertisers.
The online version will allow Chamber members to access Glasgow Business wherever they may be, with no need to carry the hard copy around. It will also be helpful to companies as it will be available to all employees via the web. The digital version will allow readers to crop pages of articles or images in order to save, mail or print off their selection of interest. Once multiple issues are online they will stored in an archive folder, readers can search this archive for specific articles or choose to browse back issues.
Through monitoring the digital version, Glasgow Chamber will be able to determine which content has the highest readership and tailor the hard copy and digital magazine to better suit its audience.
The digital version is accessible at no extra costs to the reader. To access the publication when launched, please go to the following website:
