Take up of Glasgow office space doubled in the second quarter of 2010, when surveyors Jones Lang Lasalle said the city had performed well.

City centre office take up increased to 185,066 square feet from 87,803 square feet in the first quarter. Total take up for the first half of 2010 was 272,869 square feet – up 116% on the same period in 2009.
