Cameron House at Loch Lomond has been awarded Hotel of the Year 2010 at the prestigious Catey Awards – the Oscars of the UK’s hospitality industry.
Operated by De Vere Hotels and Resorts, Cameron House beat off competition from some of the most well respected and prestigious hotels across not only Scotland, but England, Ireland and Wales.
As part of the judging criteria the hotel had to demonstrate excellence in its chosen market, consistency of its product and service, and general success as a business.
Following a £50 million refurbishment in 2009, Cameron House now operates as a 128-bedroom resort, A PGA championship golf course, a 210 berth marina and a fine dining restaurant headed by Michelin starred chef Martin Wishart.
